Membership............................
We are
so pleased to have you as members of the Timberwyck
Swim and Tennis Club. Once you have joined and
paid your $500 bond, you remain a member until
you resign in writing. At that point you will
be placed on a list to receive your bond back as
a new member joins to take your place (please be patient with
this process—it sometimes takes
a year or two to rise to the top of the list). Dues are paypable
by May 15th every year. Dues not received by June 1 are covered
by the bond. In order to remain a member after such point, you
wll need to repay the bond and balance due for that season.
We welcome
Seniors (62+) to join the pool for a one-time Membership
Fee of $250 and Annual Dues of $250. Guest Passes
are available for family, grandchildren, etc. Guest Books are
$50 for a book of 10 and may be purchased at the time you join.
Tennis-only membership is $200 to use the courts
anytime there are not lessons in session. Runs
June 1 to May 31.
Swim and tennis lessons are available throughout
the summer. Visit www.timberwyck.org/lessons for
schedule and online registration!
The Timberwyck Club is a great place to hold a
birthday party, graduation party, family reunion,
or IT’S SUMMER! party. Members may rent the pool
before or after hours for private parties. The rental charge is
as follows:
- $100.00 for a 2 hour party
- $125.00
for a 3 hour party
- $150.00 for a 4 hour party
- Lifeguards
are required and paid directly by Renter
There
is also a deposit of $100, which is returned
upon satisfaction of the Rental Agreement, which
includes satisfactory clean-up. You can view available dates on
the calendar and download details, including the Rental Agreement
at www.timberwyck.com/rental. Dates are not reserved
until the Deposit and Rental Fee and signed Rental Agreement have
been received. Times available for parties are
mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and evenings from 7 p.m. to 11
p.m. (If your party will overlap with open pool hours, we require
that you put a notice on the white board at least
two days in advance as a courtesy to other members.) To inquire
about availability please email rental@timberwyck.org. Be sure
to include your phone number in an email.
SIGN-IN
Members and their guests are asked
to sign a register upon entering the pool. It will
be on a table at the entrance gate. Children may come alone at
age 10; babysitters must be 14 years of age.
GUEST POLICY
Guests
of Timberwyck Pool members may use our pool if
accompanied by a member. Please sign your guests
in at the gate, including an emergency contact number for children.
Then give one guest pass per guest (over age 2)
to the lifeguard. Members can purchase a book of
10 Guest Passes for $50 or complete 3 volunteer assignments. Guest
Passes may be purchased on the website or by contacting Marie
Keith or Mary Gabel. Guest Pass Policy will be strictly enforced.
Guest privileges are primarily intended for guests from out of
our membership area. If you have neighbors within our membership
area that would like to use our facilities, please encourage them
to join the pool. Your babysitter may bring your children to the
pool under your membership as long as s/he replaces
you on that visit. However, the babysitter’ own
children, friends, or family will count as your guests. We ask
that you limit the number of guests that you bring at one time.
In the interest of safety and due to the pool’s small size,
larger groups should be entertained by renting the facility before
or after hours.
DIAPER POLICY
Children who are not completely
toilet trained must wear a “swim diaper” specially
made and sold for this purpose. If your child is newly toilet
trained, please still use a swim diaper. One “accident” can
close the pool for a day or more. Please check
with the lifeguard for an emergency supply if
you find yourself without one.
GLASS POLICY
No
glass containers or glasses at pool for obvious
safety reasons.
